Niemiec Marine, Inc. is adding an additional Marine Mechanic/Technician to our team. The ideal candidate will have experience as an inboard marine mechanic with both marine diesel engines and marine systems. The ideal applicant should possess the following skills:

  • Technical knowledge of the marine industry and systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair marine diesel engines
  • Manage and complete small and large projects
  • Ability to use and embrace new technology for electronic engine troubleshooting, internet research and navigation, engine training software and MS Office applications
  • Positive attitude and willing to learn new things

Niemiec Marine, Inc. is an authorized dealer for Yanmar, Cummins, Volvo Penta, Westerbeke, Universal, Crusader and Honda Portable Generators. We offer both on-road service and in-yard service at our waterfront boatyard location in New Bedford.
