Niemiec Marine is a full-service boatyard caring for customers vessels between 30′ and 60′ in length. We are a certified dealer for Yanmar, Cummins, Volvo Penta, Onan, Westerbeke, Phasor, and Seakeeper.
The ideal candidate will have 5 or more years of experience in the marine service industry with marine systems and diesel engine knowledge. However, this position is available to the right candidate with less experience. A candidate with less than 5 years’ experience MUST have mechanical experience or a mechanical background.

Job Type: Full-time

Duties:
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vessels from 30′ to 60′
• Perform marine diesel engine cooling system service
• Troubleshoot and diagnose marine equipment
• Installation of marine equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair marine diesel engines

Skills:

• Mechanical background with experience as a mechanic
• Ability to rig and install marine equipment
• Great attention to detail
• A positive attitude and great work ethic

Work Location: In person, New Bedford, MA
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Schedule:
8-hour shift – Monday to Friday
