During a cutlass bearing replacement for scheduled maintenance on a down east boat, this packing box was removed to be re-bedded. The box was originally manufactured without a proper surface to secure the packing box hose. With a little lathe work, the packing box is now ready to be re-installed. One of the many services that we provide to our customers is our machine shop work. Having in house capabilities allows for a smooth workflow with limited stoppages while waiting for outside services.
